Export
With every Export shipment charges are calculated on the size/weight of the animal travelling, the destination, route and time of year. We represent many major airlines and can ship to anywhere in the world throughout the year.
During the hot summer and cold winter months, most carriers to the United States have embargos. In conjunction with Continental Airlines, PBS International Freight Ltd can offer reliable temperature controlled transport to/from the aircraft, which then allows your pet to travel throughout the year. See Continental's PetSafe policy.
It is very important that the correct kennel is provided for your animal. Please go to kennel size for information on crate sizes and measuring your pet.
For flight booking requests please go to booking this is for exports from the UK only. You can request your flight and preferred date on line together with all your pet information, please have your quote reference to hand and please await our confirmation of booking prior to booking your own passenger flights.
DISCLAIMER:
Please note if the overall checkweight of your pet and/or Kennel combined is heavier than quoted (this applies to chargeable weight as well as dead weight) or if a shipper provided Kennel is deemed too small for the animal then this will incur ADDITIONAL CHARGES which PBS International Freight Ltd CANNOT be held responsible for, this will be re-charged to the customer/shipper.
Note: this may involve providing a larger travel kennel or re-booking your pet with the airline.
Additionally if last minute change of destination is required this MAY increase the cost of travel depending on the destination.
Vari Kennels
PBS hold a large stock of Vari Kennels in various sizes.

Please note that if you are going to use your own kennel for your pet/animal you will need to check that it complies with industry IATA standard regulations.
The kennel must be sturdy, properly ventilated and most importantly must be large enough for the animal to freely sit and stand with its head erect, turn around, and lie down in a normal posture.
Note: A domestic pet carrier purchased from the majority of pet stores will most likely not be approved for air transport.
Check the closing mechanism to make sure it works properly, do not put a lock on the door, as the animal must be accessible in case of an emergency.
We do not recommend wheels unless they have a secure locking device.
Kennels should be nose and paw proof, in addition to this other species of pets such as rodent, birds etc have different criteria, please contact us for further details.
Only 1 dog or cat should be contained in each box, unless they are puppies or kittens younger than 6 months. Dogs and cats can not travel together in the same containers.
Two empty fixed dishes (food and water) must be fixed to the kennel and be accessable from the outside.
Absorbent material should only be black and white newspaper or blanket.
